The Goodrich Law Corporation was founded in July 2007.

The Goodrich Law Corporation also assists individuals with collection matters including litigation and post-judgment collection. The firm has years of experience in prosecuting and defending contractual defaults, enforcing judgments (such as garnishment of wages, securing liens on real and personal property, levying funds from bank accounts, domesticating sister-state judgments and avoiding fraudulent transfers).
The firm also helps clients form corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and advises on issues of corporate governance and compliance (such as fiduciary duty matters, shareholder derivative actions and matters pertaining to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).

David M. Goodrich served as an associate attorney at the law firm Cooksey, Toolen, Gage, Duffy & Woog, P.C. in Costa Mesa, California for 7 years. After representing clients in bankruptcy, litigation and transactional forums, David left Cooksey Toolen to start the Goodrich Law Corporation.
As a young practioner of law, David spent most of his early career in the court house learning the process of law and the art of argument. David estimates that he has argued before more than 100 judges in the states of California, Nevada and Arizona.
David's experience includes the representation of DaimlerChrysler Services North America LLC, Ford Motor Credit Company LLC, Toyota Motor Credit Company, Americredit Financial Services, Bank of America, Consumer Portfolio Services, Honda Financial, Hilton Resorts and CitiFinancial Auto in bankruptcy cases, adversary proceedings and civil collection matters.

David has served as a panelist for the Orange County, L.A. County and Riverside County Bankruptcy Forums in relation to the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (a.k.a. BAPCPA).
David has also represented clients in real estate litigation, small business litigation as well as assisting with the formation of corporate entities and ensuring corporate compliance.
David is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta. David is a graduate of the University of Arizona (B.A. 1997) and Whittier College School of Law (J.D. 2000). David is admitted to practice law before the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern District Courts of California.
